Armor All® was founded in 1962 by polymer chemist Joe Palcher, who discovered a revolutionary formula that protects rubber, plastic and vinyl from the harmful effects of UV radiation and ozone. Initially sold under the Tri-don brand, the company evolved into Armor All® Protectant ten years later when Alan Rypinski, an automotive enthusiast and marketing expert, purchased the company and gave it a new name. Since then, Armor All® has become a leader in the production of innovative vehicle care products, offering a wide range of solutions such as air fresheners, disinfectants, regenerators and wipes.
With more than half a century of innovation and commitment, Armor All® continues its mission to make it easier for vehicle owners to clean, shine, protect and refresh their cars while promoting their passion for the automotive industry.
